Not only this streamer give the heavy dumbbells by their weight the right focus and a provocative run. They are also indispensable for some of the most catchy crab and shrimp patterns in fishing in the flats. The dumbbell eyes can be easily tied to the hook by the taper in the middle. They allow the fly to run upside down.
